Prescriptions

Repeat prescription requests should be left in the box near reception. You do not need to queue to hand over your prescription. This will not reduce the time it takes for us to process your prescription.

Prescription line is only open 10am – 4pm and no prescription requests will be dealt with via phone –

Prescriptions

We use the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). This means your prescription is sent directly to your chosen pharmacy.

Please contact your pharmacy to request your medication. You can do this in person, by phone, or using your pharmacy’s app or online service.

If you do not have a nominated pharmacy, please let us know and we can set this up for you.

Processing Times

Please allow at least 72 hours for all prescription requests.

Your pharmacy may need additional time to prepare your medication.

Important

Please only order the medication you need.

Ordering unnecessary medication leads to waste and can affect NHS resources.

If you are going on holiday and require your medications early, please send confirmation of your holiday dates including booking details to patient.support.w93039@wales.nhs.uk Requests without this information will not be processed.
