Clinics & Services

Health Promotion clinics include:

Asthma Clinic, Diabetic Clinic, Minor Ops, Counsellor, Well Women Clinic, Dietician, Child Health Surveillance.The Practice offers a variety of Health Checks in the surgery, these include: Spirometry, Specialist Nurse Advice, Smoking Cessation, Weight Management, ECG.

Family Planning

We offer pre-conceptual advice/protocol. Emergency Contraception and Advice is made available. Young Peoples Services & Advice.

Health Surveillance

We offer child health surveillance and over 75’s surveillance, with recorded data about patients and their carers’. (In agreement and in conjunction with the principles of the Data Protection Act.)The Practice is proactive in annual Flu Clinics’ during October. Patients over 65 years of age and those ‘at risk’ with medical conditions are encouraged to have this vaccination.

Repeat Prescriptions

Monthly repeat prescriptions must be ordered in writing, or by using the back portion of the previous prescription. A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS notice is necessary. Please allow 7 days minimum if you wish your prescription to be sent to a pharmacy.The maximum amount of medication we are allowed to give is 2 months supply. People going abroad for longer must make arrangements at their holiday destination to purchase or obtain further quantities needed. This is a directive from the Welsh Assembly Government.
